Sixth Folder, Sixth Photo

I was tagged by Lael for this "Sixth Folder, Sixth Photo." I am late on getting this posted, but here it is. I encourage all visitors to post the sixth photo from their sixth folder onto their blog.

This was taken in March of 2007 from the porch of our apartment. It was a great snowstorm that left about 13 inches of super wet snow on everything. The kiss of the snow queen was dazzling. My boyfriend and I went out the morning after the storm to rent some movies and get proper ingredients for our "snowstorm survival kit"; which included everything for chocolate chip cookies, hot chocolate, and vodka. It took us 45 minutes to dig out the car and remove the sheet of ice sealing the car shut. We were laughing until we cried and could barely stay standing because of the slippery wet ice under the slippery wet snow. I haven't seen a more beautiful snow storm since. What great memories! Thanks, Lael, this post was a great idea!

Sherri, I'm glad you were able to enjoy reliving the memory from your sixth photo. What a snow storm! My uncle has lived in Lincoln and weathered many of the same winters. Not me. I'd prefer the rain of the NW all winter long (with a few snowy days here and there)! My uncle actually mentioned that he's linked to your blog from mine and found that you guys share the same favorite coffee shop and radio station in Lincoln. Small world!

Your uncle, really, that is so cool. He sounds like he has good taste! I really like snow. Rain is alright now and then, but winter snow is so magical, sometimes.
